Be just like mummy (or daddy!) and bake a cake with the New Sprouts Mix It set. Designed with little hands in mind it is chunky and durable and made in bright colours to appeal to children. They can turn the handle at the top of the mixer to make the beater turn. Also included are some ingredients you will need to bake the cake; some butter, and an egg (shell) that splits in 2, just like you are cracking an egg! Also included is a measuring cup for measuring those dry ingredients.

The pieces are made from soft rubberised PVC and plastic all of which are made to the high standards of Learning Resources and parents will love the fact it doesn't require and batteries so not hunting about in the back of a drawer for them!

Engage in role play with them and not only will this bring you closer together it will also improve their vocabulary and work on the notion of sharing.
