All about me
It's really easy to fit the Protect into your car, there are actually several choices of installation. You can simply use the 3 point seatbelt in the rear of your car, or you can choose to purchase a base separately to make getting the car seat in and out even quicker. There is a choice of a universal base which uses a seatbelt to install or the ISOFIX version, but whichever way you chose you can be assured your little one is safe and sound.
Keeping your little one safe is Mountain Buggy's priority and as such the Protect nestles your little one in high sided protection with thick EPS foam. As babies are very small when they are born, Mountain Buggy also provide a removable lumbar support cushion and a removable cushion liner with head protection to keep them snug in their seat. The adjustable 5-point harness has a chest clip for enhanced performance in the event of a crash.
The car seat has a shaped base which means it can be used for a short period of time as a rocker if you are out of the house and moving the car seat from the car to the pushchair without waking your little one is a breeze. The Protect will fit on some other makes and models of pushchair with the addition of adaptors (sold separately).
It's lightweight and ergonomically designed, the Protect weighs a mere 3.9kg, with a handle that's comfortable in your hand or resting at the elbow, making it balanced and easy to carry.
