About this Car Seat

Offering superb i-Size safety and high-end design, the Maxi-Cosi Pearl Pro2 i-Size is the next stage for your child to travel in style, following on from the Rock or Tinca infant carriers and sharing a FamilyFix2 or 3 ISOFIX base (Rock, Tinca and bases sold separately). The Pearl Pro is suitable for children from 67cm to 105cm, that's roughly from 6 months to 4 years (with a maximum weight of 18.5kg) and has been packed with innovation to give you easy-to-adjust recline positions, click-and-go convenience and is a compact size to fit most cars without compromising on safety or comfort. This seat requires the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix2 or 3 ISOFIX base to be installed which is not included.

The Pearl Pro2 can face rearwards for longer- all the way to 4 years, actually. We know that rearwards is the safest way to travel, but with the Pearl Pro2, you can choose to face forwards from 15 months too. Easy to use and superbly safe, the Pearl Pro2 has been extensively tested in excess of the new standard R129 "i-Size" requirements and features optimum side impact protection built into the shell. A padded safety harness holds your little one safely in position as they travel- this can be adjusted simultaneously with the headrest to ensure your little one stays comfortable inside the solid shell. The harness opens easily when you are installing your child in the seat and stays open until you click it into place. The seat fully reclines in whichever direction they are facing, so your little one can sit comfortably or snooze in a more relaxed position as they travel. And for your convenience, the Pearl Pro2 has an easily removable and machine-washable cover to keep everything hygienic and bright. To keep your little one as comfy as can be, there is a Pearl Pro2 comfort cushion.

The Pearl Pro2 can ONLY be installed in your vehicle with the FamilyFix2 or 3 base (sold separately), which also fits infant carriers too. Not only does it ensure optimum safety from the sturdy ISOFIX connection, but allows you to fit the seat quickly, easily, and with the peace of mind provided by the lights and sound that confirm a correct fit. The FamilyFix2 or 3 base also has a support leg for stability- this also has visual and audio indicators to let you know that the base is safely fitted and ready for the Pearl Pro2 to be clicked into place on the base.
