About this Car Seat

Building on the safety of the Guardianfix range, the Kiddy Guardianfix 3 is a super safe and comfortable seat that can be used all the way from when your little one gets out of their infant carrier (from 9 months) up to the time they no longer need a car seat (around 12 years old). Now that's longevity! Thankfully, Kiddy has made it comfortable as well as safe!

Easy to fit, the Guardianfix has a smart K-fix+ system with long connectors so you can easily and quickly click into place in your vehicle's ISOFIX points, and also gives the seat a greater incline so will fit in most shaped seats. These special connectors even have a sideways movement to make it easy to install your child in the seat by moving it sideways, but more importantly, in the event of an impact, the seat moves sideways away from the danger, reducing the force they are exposed to. If you don't have ISOFIX points in your car, fear not, you can install the Guardianfix in place using your vehicle's 3-point seatbelt.

The seat is safe in other ways too- using an impact shield instead of a harness your little one can be fastened in place using the seatbelt and an eye-level indicator on the headrest ensures that you can adjust the soft support to the correct place at any time, making sure they are always safe. Large side impact cushions and an energy-absorbing honeycomb high-tech material in the head and shoulders of the seat protects all those delicate areas too.

For comfort, the seat adjusts one-handed widthways as well as by height so it can grow as your child does. A leg extension offers support as required, and an infant insert cushion can be removed as required. So can the covers- they're machine washable for your convenience- well, you're going to get so many years of use from the seat that you'll need an easy way to keep it in top condition. In fact, the fabrics are a huge reason the seat is so comfortable- it's a breathable 3D mesh fabric that keeps your little one cool in warm weather- perfect for napping or longer journeys especially.
