About this Pushchair

No matter if you are already a runner or you have decided to start to exercise to get rid of that dreaded baby weight, the Cybex Avi Running Pushchair has been specifically designed to allow you to run with it – don’t worry, it works just as well when you walk too!

Lightweight and streamlined, it’s perfect for running on urban streets and leafy parks. The frame is made from lightweight, but strong aluminium and paired with the air-filled tyres and soft rear suspension it’s a pleasure to push and be pushed in! The Avi has been designed to give you the best running experience so it can be pushed and steered one-handed, leaving your other arm free to swing naturally for effortless running. There is a wrist strap for safety (which must always be used) as well as a handbrake on the handlebar for easy slowing down too. The handlebar is height adjustable to allow you to find the perfect position to suit your running style and it is also made of slip-proof silicone which means whatever the weather it’s easy to hold onto without being sticky! It is also shock-absorbing and comfortable to hold even during longer runs.

Moving onto comfort for your little one, the five-point harness will keep them safe while the padded shoulder straps keep them comfy. The seat can easily be reclined with one hand so they can have a little nap if they choose and the ventilation in the side of the seat as well as in the hood will keep them cool on warmer days. The XL sun canopy has UPF50+ protection to protect them from the elements and even has a flip-out sun visor for those extra sunny days.

You may think a stroller with big wheels is going to be a nightmare to fold and store, but that is not the case at all – it can be folded in seconds and the wheels can be removed quickly with no tools for an ultra-compact fold.

Storage is not a problem either, there is a large under-seat basket as well as a pocket in the back of the seat which is perfect for keys etc. If you are out and about when the evenings are darker, don’t worry the Avi has reflective detailing so you can be seen more easily.

There is a huge range of accessories (all sold separately) to accompany your Avi, from a rain cover or insect net to footmuffs and car seat adapters – please note that you cannot run with a car seat on the frame, you should only run when your little one is at least 9 months old and is sitting unaided in the pushchair seat.
