As well as being i-Size the Motion car seat is also an extended rear facing seat. This means you can keep your child rear-facing until they reach 18kg, which again is around 4 years old. Rear facing has been proven to be the safest way for your little one to travel in a car, but you do have the option of turning the seat forward facing from 15 months old if you prefer.

To make getting your child in and out of the car seat easier the Motion also has 360° rotation so you can rotate the seat toward the door as put them in or get them out and then swivel it to the position you require, no more bending at awkward angles to get your little one in!

To ensure your little one is comfortable while they are travelling Silver Cross have bought in a range of solutions. Firstly, there are 5 headrest positions which are super easy to adjust so your little one is not only comfy but safe. Then there are the 3 recline positions which can be used in both rearward and forward facing mode. The seats are made with soft natural bamboo fabric which is great for sensitive skin as well as wicking away moisture to keep your little one comfy. There is a newborn insert to give your precious bundle a snug feeling when they are tiny, this can be removed in stages as they grow.

Now onto the safety; the Motion Safe side impact protection keeps your little one safer in the event of an accident by distributing the forces of the crash throughout the shell of the seat. The seat is fitted using the ISOFIX connectors and the built-in, adjustable support leg for ease of use.
