Learning to walk for your little one is a huge milestone and such an achievement once they master it. As parents, you may want to help encourage them by getting them a walker to encourage those first steps. There are so many different types to choose from – ones with wooden blocks, ones that you can push along as a walker and ones you can sit inside which are ideal for those very first baby steps. As your child grows in confidence they may want to use the walkers they can push along. Baby walkers can be also educational as they can help with coordination and balance. Most walkers have smooth easy roll wheels for gentle movement. You should not leave your child in a walker for longer than 20 minutes and you should encourage them to walk unaided when they can.
