About this Car Seat
Part of the Britax Romer Modular System, the DUALFIX iSENSE Car Seat offers innovation, brilliant design, safety and comfort. Designed to be used from when your little one 3 months old right through until they are 105cm (approx 4 years old) in conjunction with the FLEX BASE iSENSE (sold separately, bundle available). The base can be used with the previous stage seat in the modular system series (sold separately) making it a great investment for your little one’s future safety too. Part of the iSENSE series, it features smart lighting technology. The seat is equipped with 2 interior ambient lights that can be turned on to provide additional comfort for your child when driving in the dark. Not only can your little one stay entertained – you can also make sure that they are ok at all times. The interior ambient lights can also assist you when harnessing your child in the dark.
The DUALFIX iSENSE must be installed on the FLEX BASE iSENSE which is sold separately but gives you 360° rotation makes it handy for getting your child in and out of the seat, as well as making the switch from rear to forward-facing so much easier. Keeping your child comfortable while travelling is a must. That’s why this seat was designed with multiple recline positions, forward and rearward facing, that you can adjust with ease – offering a stress-free journey with a happy child.
Rearward facing car seats offer the best protection in the event of a frontal collision – the most frequent type of accident on the roads and the DUALFIX iSENSE is an extended rear-facing seat meaning you can leave it rear-facing until they are 4 years old. You can change them to forward-facing from 76 to 105cm and make the switch when you and your little one are ready, but having a seat that can be rear-facing for longer is extremely safe.
The optimised side impact protection system SICT inside provides superior safety in case of a side collision. Additionally, in combination with the FLEX BASE iSENSE, the patented Pivot Link ISOFIX System protects your child in every kind of accident, whether it is from the front, the side or the rear. That is peace of mind you can rely on.
The headrest and harness are also easy to adjust to find the perfect fit as your child grows. The headrest is V-shaped to ensure optimal protection in the event of a side-collision as well as ultimate comfort. The multi-position recline gives your child comfortable sitting or sleeping options as they grow.
You can be reassured with the superior protection offered with the deep softly padded side wings, soft neoprene performance chest pads, 5-point harness and support leg all work in tandem to reduce forward movement and divert any impact forces into the vehicles seat.
As well as safety, the Dualfix i-SENSE has been built with practicality in mind. The quick-remove cover is machine washable for your convenience, and there's no need to remove the harness first.
You can choose to purchase the FLEX BASE iSENSE as part of a bundle - it has an adjustable angle for the safest and most comfortable position as well as a rotatable base, allowing you to turn the seats towards the door for easy entry.
The GREEN SENSE versions help you do your bit for the environment too! Made from up to 29 recycled plastic bottles, Britax Romer turns the bottles into soft yarn, which is then spun into the lovely fabric covers on these seats.
