The BeSafe Pregnancy iZi Fix Belt is a great addition to a car for a pregnant lady. It can be used regardless as to whether they are a driver or a passenger and it guides the lap belt away from the stomach and their unborn baby. This Belt is designed for use in the front seat of the car with the included strap or can be used in the back seats using the Isofix points in the car. The belt can be used from the second month of pregnancy right up until birth.

All about me

The iZi Fix version of this belt works in the same way as the standard pregnancy belt but has the added feature of a removable strap and has clips to fix to Isofix points in the rear of a car giving it more versatility.

This is one of those products that hopefully will never be used for what it is intended, and you are not in a serious accident while you are pregnant (or anytime!) but unfortunately, it does happen. In a collision, an adult person can weigh between three and five tonnes. In a pregnant woman, the unborn baby is positioned far forward and can, therefore, be subject to great strain at the moment of impact. The BeSafe Pregnant guides the lap belt away from the stomach and the baby.

It’s so easy to use, place the Pregnant Belt on the seat, wrap the straps around the back of the seat and clip together. Then when you sit on the cushioned area, place the vehicles 3 point seatbelt around you are normal then clip the lap belt into the press studded area on the belt – voila, not only does it draw forces applied via the lap belt away from the stomach area in an impact, it also reduces pressure on the tummy and bladder on every journey.
