This high backed seat has 3 recline positions and can be used as a Group 0 seat in a rearward facing position, and then later as a Group 1 seat in a forward facing position. It's recommended that you keep a child rear facing for as long as possible as seats are designed to most efficiently disperse the force of an impact away from a child through the back of the seat's shell. You can install the Chilton into your vehicle using your 3-point seatbelt, and the comfortable padded seat is comfortable for your child as well as safe. A 5-point harness holds your little one in place safely and the harness can be adjusted as your child grows. The harness pads make the journey more comfortable too. For your convenience, the covers are easy to remove and machine washable to keep them in top condition.
