About this Car Seat

The Maxi Cosi Coral 360 i-Size Car Seat definitely has a different take on an infant carrier. It comprises a shell that sits in your car or on your pushchair and a lightweight soft carrier that fits inside. It can be installed in your car using a 3-point seat belt or using the Familyfix 360 base which is sold separately but does have a rotating feature to make getting your little one in and out really easy.

The shell is installed in your car using a 3-point seatbelt, so it will fit in most vehicles although there is an Isofix base available separately should you prefer. The seat is tested to i-Size regulation R129/03 giving you peace of mind that it meets the more rigorous testing.

Moving onto the soft carrier, this is what cocoons your little one during those first precious months. What makes it spectacular is the shell only weighs a tiny 1.7kg making it so easy to carry your little one in it, not only great for parents but for grandparents too! The comfortable and protective baby-hug inlay ensures they are comfy and the extra-large sun canopy will protect them from the sun in and out of the car. The soft carrier has retractable soft carry handles and an easy-in 3-point harness for securing your little one.

The shell and soft carrier can fit onto most Maxi-Cosi pushchairs too making it travel system compatible. There are memory buttons on the shell to make getting it off the pushchair easy too.

The Coral can be installed in your vehicle with the FamilyFix 360 base (sold separately), which also fits other car seats too. Not only does it ensure optimum safety from the sturdy ISOFIX connection, but allows you to fit the seat quickly, easily, and with the peace of mind provided by the lights and sound that confirm a correct fit. The FamilyFix 360 base also has a support leg for stability- this also has visual and audio indicators to let you know that the base is safely fitted and ready for the Pebble 360 to be clicked into place on the base. It can be rotated smoothly and easily using only one hand - perfect for busy parents with their hands full.

The Maxi Cosi Coral is also suitable for use on aeroplanes (please check with your airline first).
