About this Car Seat
Designed to grow with your little one, the Graco Avolve Group 1/2/3 Car Seat will see your little one through from 9 months old until they reach 135cm or 12 years old (whichever is first) so you will not have to buy another seat! The reinforced steel frame with TrueShield technology will help to keep your little one safe in the event of a crash.
Start by securing your Avolve in your car using the isoCatch connectors and the vehicle's 3-point seatbelt. From then on you simply use the built-in harness to secure your little one until they reach 18kg (around 4 years old). As they grow you simply adjust the headrest, which is done easily with one hand, and the harness will adjust to the correct height for your little one, there are 10 headrest positions to choose from!
When they reach 18kg, it’s time to remove the harness – well, you don’t actually need to remove it, it tucks away out of sight behind the cushioning, meaning not only is there no unthreading, it’s safe and sound if you need to use it for a second child. There is no requirement to use the isoCatch connections in this mode, but using them does keep the car seat in place in the event of a crash (or sharp braking) when your little one isn’t in the seat as you don’t want a loose car seat flying towards you!! The vehicle's 3-point seatbelt wraps around your little one in the seat in the same fashion as an adult using the belt – the seat simply boosts them to the correct height for the seatbelt to do its job and provides extra side impact protection.
This extra little accessory might not be important to you as a parent, but your little one will be very grateful for their very own cup holder! It can fit on either side of the seat and does stop the cries of ‘mum/dad, I can’t reach my drink!’.
