About this Car Seat

The Britax Römer DUALFIX M i-SIZE V22 Car Seat uses a combination of state-of-the-art safety technology and stunning design to make a superbly safe seat suitable from 61 - 105 cm (approx 3 months to 4 years). This seat is perfect for parents who want to make the transition from an infant carrier to a more substantial and much safer seat during those early months. You may wonder what the differences are from the previous model - we can tell you that is it 600g lighter, the shell of the seat has a sleeker look and the support leg has been upgraded too.

This cool seat offers a 360° rotation, making it handy for getting your child in and out of the seat, as well as making the switch from rear to forward-facing so much easier. Rearward facing from 3 months to 105cm, or forward facing from 76 to 105cm- you can make the switch when you and your little one are ready, but having a seat which can be rear-facing for longer is extremely safe. The seat includes a rebound bar which not only helps to prevent the seat from tilting in an impact but also adjusts up to 8 degrees to allow you to fit it to the backrest of the vehicle's seat more easily and gives your little one an extra 10cm of legroom.

This seat is superbly safe for your little one, so much so that it received a rating of 'GOOD' and a score of 2.1 in the stringent ADAC testing. The headrest and harness are also easy to adjust one-handed to find the perfect fit as your child grows. The headrest is V-shaped to ensure optimal protection in the event of a side collision as well as ultimate comfort. The multi-position recline gives your child comfortable sitting or sleeping options as they grow.

You can be reassured by the superior protection offered by the deep softly padded side wings, and the combination of the pivot link system, soft neoprene performance chest pads, 5-point harness and support leg all work in tandem to reduce forward movement and divert any impact forces into the vehicles seat rather than your child. The seat features a built-in ISOFIX base with a height-adjustable support leg, with indicators to confirm that the ISOFIX connectors are correctly engaged and that the foot prop has been correctly installed.

As well as safety, the Dualfix M i-SIZE has been built with practicality in mind. The quick-remove cover is machine washable for your convenience, and there's no need to remove the harness first. The rebound bar also has a washable cover to help protect it from rubbing and dirty marks from your little one's feet.

The GREEN SENSE versions help you do your bit for the environment too! Made from up to 29 recycled plastic bottles, Britax Romer turns the bottles into soft yarn, which is then spun into the lovely fabric covers on these seats.
