About this Car Seat

The Recaro Young Sport Hero Core Group 1/2/3 Car Seat will see your little one through their whole childhood, once they have outgrown their infant carrier making it a great investment. The seat is designed to fit in most cars as it only uses the standard 3-point seatbelt in your car to secure it and your child.

The 5-point harness secures your little one whilst they're using the seat in Group 1 mode. The harness uses the patented Recaro HERO safety system. This combines the shoulder pads, shoulder straps and headrest into a single unit and therefore stops the harness from slipping and twisting and makes adjusting the height of the harnesses really easy. The metal parts of the harness system are coated to help prevent your little one from getting burnt in hot weather! While in Group 1 mode there is also a removable seat reducer to ensure your little one is comfortable.

When you move onto group 2/3, you remove the harness and seat reducer and use the marked belt guide to ensure your little one is securely in place. The reinforced armrests not only provide extra hip protection but are great for older children to rest their arms on.

The seating area has foam that adapts to your child's body shape to give them the highest levels of comfort. To keep them thermally comfortable while they are travelling, the seat also has built-in ventilation in the back of the seat and mesh linings in the covers to provide airflow.

The Young Sport Hero also has Advanced Side Protection (ASP). This ASP is integrated into the seat and helps to absorb forces in the event of a side-impact collision, reducing the forces on your child.

For convenience, the covers can be removed for washing because we all know kids are mucky pups!
