About this Travel System

Britax Romer has taken the award-winning SMILE II and upgraded it giving us a wonderful SMILE III Pushchair. With superior suspension and the ability to turn it into a travel system, it really is the pushchair that will do it all for you. One of the biggest features is the slimline design, making getting through tight spaces in cafes, shops or restaurants or even into your house a breeze. Suitable from birth through to 22kg (around 4 years old), it will keep you and your little one smiling all day.

The lie-flat recline on the SMILE III not only allows you to use the pushchair from birth but also gives your little one somewhere comfy to nap while out and about. The extra-long backrest also ensures the seat stays comfy as they grow, and the reversible seat allows you to face them towards you for extra bonding time or towards the world so they can see the world around them. They can also enjoy the comfortable ride that the clever central and front suspension provides. This works in conjunction with the air-filled wheels providing an undeniably luxurious ride.

To protect them from the elements is a large UPF 50+ hood which unzips to provide even more coverage. There is even a ventilation panel built into the top with a cover for those warmer days when they need protection, but you still want to have great airflow. Under the pushchair, you will find an extra-large basket capable of holding a huge 7kg. On the side of the basket, the wheels and the front of the pushchair there is glow in the dark 3M reflector stripes making you more visible at night too.

Parents have been considered too – there is an adjustable handle for a comfy pushing position as well as flip-flop-friendly brakes to save your toes and your shoes! Even the harness is parent-friendly as it slides to adjust – no more fiddly rethreading for you! The pushchair even stands freely when folded.

You also get the matching Britax SMILE III Hard Carrycot too. The carrycot gives an extra snuggly ride for your little one when they are newborns. It provides the ultimate comfort for your newborn on longer strolls thanks to its complete lie-flat position and comfy mattress. The apron and generous hood will protect your little one from the elements too.

Let’s have a look at the car seat that’s included. Part of the Britax Romer Modular System, the BABY-SAFE iSENSE Car Seat offers innovation, brilliant design, safety and comfort. Designed to be used from when your little one is born right through to 15 months old in conjunction with the included FLEX BASE iSENSE. The base can then be used with the next stage seat in the modular system series (sold separately) making it a great investment for your little one’s future safety too. Part of the iSENSE series, it features smart lighting technology! The seat is equipped with 3 different sets of smart lights – one set for easy installation, one set of safety lights for visibility on dark nights and a set of interior lights so your baby can see and be seen.

The seat features lie-flat technology which allows for a more comfortable and ergonomic position for your newborn. An integral recline mechanism lets you adjust the flatness of the lying position, depending on the height of your passenger. The lying position and shoulder straps automatically adjust as you move the headrest, giving you more room as your little one grows. A newborn insert offers extra support during those early months, reducing the space in the seat with energy-absorbing foam pads which can be taken out when your child needs more space. 

But what about making YOUR life easier? Well, the seat cover can be quickly removed and machine washed for your convenience. The handle is easily adjustable so you can move it back as required; if you fold it right back then the seat won't rock when the carrier is placed on the floor. When the handle is up, you can connect the sun hood to its sides, offering your child UPF50+ protection from the sun's harmful rays as well as extra shade and wind protection because the hood clips to the sides of the handle, you can still carry the seat easily!

Also included is the FLEX BASE iSENSE car seat base - it has an adjustable angle for the safest and most comfortable position as well as a rotatable base, allowing you to turn the seats towards the door for easy entry.
